Natalie Cohen is a certified speech-language pathologist with more than 20 years of experience and formal education in language skills and anatomy, production, and execution of speech. She is highly skilled in working with clients on articulation, language learning, executive functioning, stuttering, social skills, selective mutism, dyslexia, auditory processing, and more. In addition, Natalie is a qualified accent modification coach for over 5 years serving non-native American English-speaking professionals.
SPEECH THERAPY:
Our speech therapy services are tailored to meet our client’s needs. Although our practice specializes in helping school-age children with their articulation (i.e., sound production), we also offer speech-language services including phonological awareness, receptive and expressive language, fluency, auditory processing, critical thinking, and social skills.
One of the most frequent questions we hear from parents is, “Is there something wrong with my child’s speech because they can’t properly produce (a) particular sound(s)?” All speech sounds should be mastered by certain ages. Most children learn to pronounce these sounds prior to the expected age:

ACCENT MODIFICATION COACHING:
Accent modification helps people with foreign or regional accents reduce their accent and be more understandable, natural-sounding, and confident in speaking with a more “American English Accent”. It can also be referred to as American Accent Training, American English Accent Training, Accent Reduction, American English Pronunciation, American Accent, and Accent Coaching.
Our previous clients come from diverse backgrounds, including India, Russia, China, Korea, Brazil, Syria, and more, and are looking to enhance their English-speaking intelligibility and confidence in speaking as well as help them in their professional growth. Our services are designed to meet our client’s specific needs. Based on the assessment results, we create personalized treatment plans that focus on refining pronunciation, intonation, stress patterns, rhythm, grammar, and vocabulary. Many clients also wish to receive support with interviewing and presentation skills and learning American English slang and idioms. Through targeted exercises and guidance, our clients develop self-awareness and learn effective techniques to modify their accents, leading to improved fluency and intelligibility in English.
