We are an established Denver Design & painting company servicing Colorado’s front range for over 22 years! About 18 years ago, we started specializing in cabinet refinishing and it’s become a huge part of what we do. In fact, we paint a lot kitchen cabinets, we’re almost at 1,000 cabinets painted across the area!
Prepping For Cabinet Paint: Painting kitchen cabinets is easy, if you get the preparation process done correctly. We meet with our customers before the project even starts to go over all the little details like where we can park, who will be your painter, where we can wash brushes, etc. On the first day of the job, your painter will create a map and label all doors/hardware. After taking everything down, the main process begins. We start by cleaning we use a DE glosser to remove any of the original finish. After, we apply a strong coat of Valspar primer/ bonder. We have had the best result with two or three coats Valspar cabinet & Furniture paint. for the pasts several years painting the cabinets, we install hooks on the cabinet’s hidden side to use for our spray-racking system. Time to Paint the Cabinets. Unlike most other cabinet painters, we won’t need to set up a spray booth in your house. All cabinets doors & drawer faces go to our shop Instead, this means we can do all the work we need without any of the hassle or mess! As for the boxes, those are hand painted. With rollers & artist brushes that are designed for cabinets Not well. Outside of her work, she sings at senior living facilities and was previously affiliated with Women of Vision. In recognition of her professional achievements, she was inducted into the Colorado County Music Hall of Fame. Likewise, Ms. Penny was recognized as the first runner-up for Ms. Colorado in 2007.
While her career has been filled with standout moments, Ms. Penny takes the most pride in helping others. The cornerstone of her success lay in her determination to try new things and improve upon her skills. Similarly, she credits her grandmother, who instilled in her the belief that she could do anything a man could do. Within the next five to ten years, Ms. Penny aims to retire and focus on painting and singing for as long as she can.
